2018 was a big year for Equilibrium and our clients. Here are some of the highlights.

Looking back on another successful year

They say, ‘time flies when you’re having fun,’ and on that basis alone 2018 was certainly a year to look back on fondly.

The past 12 months has seen the team deliver another busy, exciting and successful period, and one which continues to cement Equilibrium’s position as Perth’s leading independent digital agency.

Highlights were aplenty, and included the successful launches of major long-term projects, being chosen to partner with existing and new clients on a number of exciting new projects, as well as welcoming some awesome new people to our growing team.

Major project launches

This year has been a busy one with the launch of a number of major online projects, the latest of which was for Woodside, Australia’s largest independent oil and gas company. Equilibrium and Woodside have worked closely throughout most of 2018 to create a modern, intuitive and interactive presence for the energy giant’s corporate website.

Another successful launch in recent months was the Fremantle Port Authority’s new website, a highly engaging online experience including live weather integration, 360-degree camera views, customised mapping systems, dynamic announcements and an alerts dashboard.

Other 2018 project highlights included major sites for LWP Property Group and Brightwater.

As well as projects for new clients, the year also saw us complete significant projects for existing clients.

Equilibrium consulted extensively with Western Power’s end-users and internal stakeholders to create a holistic user experience strategy to align with the organisation’s new brand and CX strategy.

Our creative and development teams were kept busy evolving Murdoch University’s innovative ‘Think Generator’, an engaging online platform encouraging prospective students to determine their own unique ‘Think’ profile, allowing the university to nurture them with relevant course information.

We were also proud to work with the Department of Health in developing a smartphone app which will allow friends and families of hospital patients to track real-time progress through their short-term hospital stays.

A growing pipeline for 2019

Whilst 2018 has been a full and busy year, 2019 appears to be heading in the same direction.

In the last couple of months we have been thrilled to commence working closely with the team at Keystart Loans to develop and execute a strategy that will vastly improve their customers' digital experience.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services have recently selected Equilibrium to assist them in creating an advanced online resource for the state’s bushfire volunteers, plus we are busy working with the Summit Group on a major website consolidation strategy which will bring a number of their key brands together in a single web portal.

New Faces Onboard

With so much happening in 2018, it is perhaps unsurprising that a number of new people were welcomed to the Equilibrium team.

Bowan Spanbroek, returned to Perth after several years to lead and develop the agency’s data-driven marketing offer.

Clare Aindow, was appointed to the newly created Finance and Commercial Manager role.

Barry Marelli, joined our account service team as account manager.

Our UX/UI team was bolstered with the appointment of Ben McGuinness and Petar Ceklic, whilst our development team has been strengthened with the appointment of Pat Stysiak and Jeremy Pittard.

In January 2019, we will soon welcome Lee Jordan, to our development team, and Cassandra Ashford, will commence in the newly created production co-ordinator role.

2019, bring it on!

2018 was another impressive year for Equilibrium, which continues to set the standard for technically innovative, and strategically sound websites and campaigns delivering strong returns for our clients.

With a clearly defined focus on empowering business through data, experience and technology, Equilibrium is poised for another successful year in 2019.
